Aye aye, so please excuse the off-topic subject but...can anyone explain to me the funky squiggles in the eye of this frog please? I found him sitting quietly on a peaty path one very cold and blustery day. It was only when I got home and looked at the photo more closely that i spotted the squiggles; makes me think of the feeding tracks of marine molluscs.
