Funky fuzzy fly and other cool inverts

Here are some more cool inverts spotted on birding missions. No idea on the funky fuzzy dipteran spp., or the beetles so would be grateful for your ID help please!

The crisp, poplar hawk moth was an ace find, as was the dash of colour that turned out to be a brilliant small pearl-bordered fritillary, a new one for me.

Plenty golden-ringed dragonflies about too but they are all zooming around at top speed so here is a pic from last year of an 'old' and rather tatty looking one; still gorgeous though!
